Faculty and Staff friends:
As we enter this new year, the Office of Intercultural Engagement would like to resume recruitment of upperclassmen students to serve as mentors as a part of P.R.I.S.M, our LGBTQ+ Mentoring Program. This program aims to promote the overall well being of LGBTQ+ identified students through relationship building, attainment of resources, and academic support.
As such an influential aspect of our UNCG community we ask that you think of current upperclassmen students who you would like to nominate to be a mentor for this program. Mentors must meet the following criteria:
- LGBTQ+-identified
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Hold at least sophomore standing (as indicated by completed credit hours)
